В статье представлена краткая историческая ретроспектива научно-экспедиционных работ, связанных с изучением природных и человеческих ресурсов территории Республики Саха (Якутия). Актуализирована роль созданной при Российской Академии наук в 1924 году Комиссии по изучению Якутской АССР в становлении и развитии науки и промышленности в республике. Дан краткий обзор организационно-методических мероприятий, использованных при проведении Первой экспедиции Российской Академии наук по изучению производительных сил Якутской АССР (1925-1930гг).
The articleit presents a brief histical retrospective of scientific expeditions connected to the studies of natural and human resources of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It is refreshed the role of founded in 1934 at Russian Academy of Sciences the Commission for studies of Yakut Autonomous Socialist Republic in establishing and development of science and industry in the republic. There is done a short review of organizational and methodological undertakings used for providing the Frist expedition of Russian Academy of Sciences for studying the productive forces of the Yakut Autonomous Socialist Republic (1925-1930).
