The article contains examples of integrated and problem-based case studies developed on the basis of the introduction of a regional component into the physics curriculum and contributing to increased motivation among students in the energy class. Solving these case studies helps to develop skills in applying scientific knowledge to understand physical processes, phenomena and models.
