Данная статья показывает актуальность проблемы развития познавательного интереса к чтению у детей старшего дошкольного возраста. Именно чтение оказывает большое влияние на формирование личности, способствует умственному и духовному развитию ребенка. Автором раскрываются вопросы формирования у дошкольников интереса к книге, приводятся данные исследования об отношении детей и родителей к чтению.
This article shows the relevance of the problem of development of cognitive interest in reading in children of senior preschool age. It is reading that has a great influence on the formation of personality, contributes to the mental and spiritual development of the child. The author reveals the issues of formation of preschool children’s interest in the book, the data of the research on the attitude of children and parents to reading are given.
