В работе исследуется значение архивных документов Национального архива Республики Саха (Якутия) для изучения истории физической культуры и спорта региона. Основное внимание уделено ключевым фондам (Р-732, Р-1515, Р-1652, Р-50), охватывающим период с 1920-х годов по начало XXI века. Анализируются процессы становления системы управления, развития инфраструктуры, организации спортивных мероприятий и подготовки кадров. Особый акцент сделан на региональной специфике и трансформациях в советский и постсоветский периоды. Исследование демонстрирует, что архивные материалы являются ценнейшей базой для реконструкции целостной картины развития физкультурно-спортивного движения в Якутии.
The paper explores the importance of archival documents of the National of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for studying the history of physical culture and sports in the region. The main attention is paid to the key collections (R-732, R-1515, R-1652, R-50) covering the period from the 1920s to the beginning of the 21st century. The analysis is conducted on the processes of establishing the management system, developing infrastructure, organizing sports events, and training personnel. Special emphasis is placed on regional specifics and transformations in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods. The research demonstrates that archival materials are the most valuable base for reconstruction of the whole picture of development of physical culture and sports movement in Yakutia.
