В последнее время в фольклористике все больше внимания уделяется изучению деятельности собирателей фольклора. Собиранием фольклора занимались множество людей - опытные фольклористы-исследователи, участники специальных научных экспедиций, и наряду с ними - любители-краеведы, учителя, работники культуры, студенты-филологи. В данной статье освещается собирательская деятельность известного краеведа Сунтарского улуса И.И. Иванова-Чопчу Уйбаан, который внес значительный вклад в сохранение и увековечивание фольклора родного улуса. На основе анализа зафиксированных текстов малого жанра фольклора, в частности, загадок и пословиц Сунтарского улуса, изданных в двух сборниках, был сделан вывод о их значении для изучения данной локальной традиции. Сборники малых фольклорных жанров, составленных И.И. Ивановым способствуют пониманию специфики традиций обозначенной территории, осознанию места сунтарского фольклора в якутской фольклористике.
In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the study of folklore collectors. Many people were engaged in collecting folklore - experienced folklorists-researchers, participants of special scientific expeditions, and along with them-Amateurs-local historians, teachers, cultural workers, students of Philology. This article highlightsthe collecting activities of the famous local historian of the Suntar ulus, I.I. Ivanov-Chopchu Uibaan, who made a significant contribution to the preservation and perpetuation of the folklore of the native ulus. Based on the analysis of recorded texts of the small genre of folklore, in particular, riddles and Proverbs of the Suntar ulus, published in two collections, it was concluded that they are important for the study of this local tradition. Collections of small folklore genres compiled by I.I. Ivanov contribute to understanding the specifics of the traditions of the designated territory, awareness of the place of Suntar folklore in Yakut folklore.
